These products are used for the splicing of silicone treated papers. They each feature a high shear silicone adhesive with a tough polyester backing providing excellent breakage resistance while meeting low caliper requirements
Green, 1.8 mil (0.05 mm) polyester film tape with silicone adhesive. Adheres well to silicone coated surfaces. The green color and silicone adhesive make for easier identification and application when splicing silicone treated paper.
Green, 2.3 mil (0.06 mm) polyester film tape with silicone adhesive. Adheres well to silicone treated papers. Heavier duty version of 8402. Use for splicing silicone liners and papers and films subject to high temperatures.
1.9 mil (0.05 mm) polyester film tape with blended silicone and rubber adhesive system. Provides high-strength, polyester backing that is ideal for butt splicing of silicone release coated paper. Resists breakage while meeting low caliper requirements.
