They are extremely resistant to chemicals, have high arc resistance and are free of carbonizing materials. 60 tape is 2 mils thick for use on high temperature coils, capacitors and wire harnesses. 61 tape is 5 mils thick and suitable for applications similar to 60 tape where high dielectric and breaking strength are required. Printable 62 tape is 2 mils thick, has a bondable backside for higher adhesion to its own backing and better bonding of resins and varnishes. It is suitable for applications similar to 60 tape.
